A massive well done to all the players of the North Wilts Youth Band who took part in the National Youth Brass Band Championships in Warwick on Sunday 22nd April. This band was formed back in January with players from Great Western Youth Band, Aldbourne Band and other local Swindon bands coming together to join forces to enable them to participate in the Intermediate Section of the Championships. We are all very proud of how well the band played at their first major competition. The players had a great day out and have enjoyed tackling new challenging music and forming new friendships along the way.
We look forward to working together again in the near future.
